EDA Solutions, the sales representative in Europe for Tanner EDA and Incentia Design Systems, has appointed Steve Attfield as sales manager for Northern Europe, covering the UK, Benelux and the Nordic countries.
Prior to joining EDA Solutions, Attfield most recently worked as a sales and business development consultant, following Northern European sales management positions at Intersil, Esterel Technologies and Semtech.
"Steve has extensive knowledge of EDA tools and analogue and mixed-signal semiconductor technologies," said Paul Double, managing director at EDA Solutions.
The company's lines include Tanner full-custom analogue and mixed-signal IC design tools and Incentia's timing and signal integrity analysis, post-layout timing and logic synthesis software for multi-million-gate.
It also offers multi-project wafer (MPW) and small-volume fabrication services from MOSIS.
