Digi-Key extends Microsemi franchise

Digi-Key has expanded its distribution relationship with Microsemi to include programmable logic devices including the SmartFusion range of SoCs, FPGAs and related evaluation boards.

"We're delighted to provide our customers top-of-line innovations essential to aerospace, defense and security, enterprise and communications, and industrial and alternative energy markets," said Mark Zack, v-p of semiconductors, Digi-Key.


SmartFusion and IGLOO are examples of the FPGA products that Digi-Key will be stocking to support these markets.

Microsemi's products include individual components, integrated circuit solutions as well as low power FPGAs and mixed signal FPGAs.

The main target markets include implanted medical, defense/aerospace and satellite, monitors and LCD TVs, automotive and mobile applications.
