Government gobbledee-gook

Here at the tech start-up blog we like to see any Government move to encourage entrepreneurs and innovation or the two at once.

But a missive from the Electronics Enabled Products Knowledge Transfer Network (EEP KTN) is somewhat baffling. It sounds as though we should like it, it has got all the right words in it: innovation, collaboration, support. And then it says:

intermediaries are now eligible for the innovation collaborations product.

To be fair, the EEP KTN is quoting a Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) consultation document. Nevertheless, what does it mean?

I shall endeavour to proceed with investigative inquiry in order to procure a suitable translation of this mystery. Or, I’ll find out and get back to you.
