Start-up changes name

If you happen to be trying to find out more about the Bristol start-up Atempo that Electronics Weekly wrote about in October, stop looking. The firm is now called Xintronix.

And if you happen to be looking for information about Xintronix then you may be best to wait a bit because a website is not yet up and running.

The change of name was decided on because there is already a US firm called Atempo.

The UK Atempo - now Xintronix - was set up by Nick Weiner, former chief technology officer and founder of Phyworks. He has a technology for serial links at multi-gigabits per second at his new venture.
