Alan Hutton, who visited in 2011, writes:
The Pump Room in Singapore can be found in the recently renovated area of Clarke Quay right on the riverside and very close to the city centre and marina. This old colonial building has been fully refurbished to provide not a just a microbrewery but also a rather sophisticated bistro featuring a wide range of Australian inspired dishes. The brewery itself supports one 1,400 litre kettle, three 3,000 litre fermenters and eight 3,000 litre maturing tanks all producing around 20,000 litres of beer/month. To put that into perspective, during the Munich beer festival there is on average 450,000 litres of beer consumed every day during the 16 day event.
