Nominate iconic designs for a time capsule

designmuseumcomp-200.jpgThe London Design Museum is getting a new home and a time capsule will be buried nearby.

To be opened in 2112, it will hold iconic designs of today.

An iPhone – designed by Brit Jonathan Ive – has been nominated.

But what else should go in?

As the design museum is about things that work well, and also look good, I think any nomination has to meet both requirements.

I am struggling a bit.

Lotus Elise?
Running blades?
Heatherwick‘s Olympic cauldron?
ARM processor
The Gherkin (quite a big capsule required)
Dyson vacuum cleaner
Wind turbine
Induction cooking hob

Any ideas?
