Object oriented, oh god.

Code Club has got me interested in MIT’s Scratch computer language again – the last time was when the Raspberry Pi Foundation mentioned it for teaching primary school children.

So I read a bit about it, and got tangled-up in object-orientation – once again completely failing to get it.

Generous web editor Alun has, also once again, spent time trying to explain object orientation.

and, once again, I have occasionally mumbled ‘subroutine’ when he said ‘object’, and become none the wiser.

and this is not Alun’s fault, as he is a lucid explainer of many things, and used to programme for a living.

’tis my limited intelligence, once again.

Oh well.
