LG Optimus G Pro grows even bigger for full HD
Phablets may be an ugly term but phone displays can keep on growing… It seems LG is about to launch a 5-inch display 1080p display phone, according to reports, expanding its Optimus G Pro range.
Jared Newman, of TechHive, writes:
The 4G LTE Optimus G Pro has a 5-inch 1080p display, which represents a bump up in both size and resolution as compared to the original Optimus G’s already big 4.7-inch, 720p screen. The Optimus G Pro also gets a boost in processing and battery life, thanks to a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip and a 3000 mAh battery; its predecessor had a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and a 2100 mAh cell.
Other aspects of the spec (see LG and NTT Docomo), include running Android 4.1, a 13.2 megapixel camera, ROM 32GB / RAM 2GB, NFC support (FeliCa, TypeA/B), weighing 160g and measuring 139mm x 70m x 9.9mm.
