Tektronix apps remotely control oscilloscopes
Three oscilloscope smartphone apps have been introduced by Tektronix, writes Richard Wilson. They are Oscillo Connect, Oscillo Analyzer, and Oscillo Triggevent.
The free apps, available now on the Google Play store, allow users to remotely control and monitor their oscilloscopes or view and analyse waveforms from the handset.
The Oscillo Connect app (pictured) can be used to remotely monitor waveforms and measurements from a smartphone. Channels and measurements can be individually specified along with controls such as Run/Stop and Single.
The Oscillo Analyzer app allows users to view Tektronix supported .CSV waveform files and run measurements on the loaded waveform.
The Oscillo Triggevent app allows the user to receive notification directly on their Android device of a pre-defined event.
