Competition – Win Dorling Kindersley’s ‘Cool Stuff Exploded’

cool-stuff-exploded-cover.jpgCOMPETION CLOSED – Congratulations to our winner from Worthing, West Sussex.

Time for a new Gadget Master competition, and in the run up to Christmas this would make a great present for a young would-be engineer: Cool Stuff Exploded, Dorling Kindersley, previously featured on this blog.

Think of it as a younger-person’s teardown analysis, definitely one for budding Gadget Masters or people who like to delve inside devices.

Impressive it is, I must say, with very lavish illustrations. I like for example the Look Inside of a Freeplay radio, and solar cells, KEF Muon speakers, Breitling watches and cordless drills also get the DK treatment. Check out the Look Inside and Introduction sections.

The prize question

We’ll keep the format familiar and straightforward: correctly answer this question for a chance of winning.

Our recent Taking the temperature post featured six blog posts related to temperature monitoring. Which post features a photograph of a reading that shows “31.9C”?

Once you know the correct response, just email competition@electronicsweekly.com with the title of the post.

The competition closes Tuesday 16th December 2008. You can view the Terms and Conditions.

Good luck!
