What Gadget Watch would be complete without netting the new Nexus 5, finally announced last night?
The new device – featuring unvarnished, pure Android, with future updates guaranteed – was co-developed with LG.
Measuring 137.84 x 69.17 x 8.59mm, and weighing 130gm, it’s 4G-compatible and runs on a 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor for its CPU and a 450 MHz Adreno 330 for the GPU. It has a 4.95″ Full HD (1920×1080) display (445 ppi) using Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3.
It is available now, unlocked and without a contract, on Google Play in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Korea, Japan, Canada and US. Prices will start from £299 in the UK, with Sprint and T-Mobile being anong the supporting operators.
