Listeners design new DAB radio for new Broadcasting House
Meant to flag this last month – the judges of a competition to design a special edition DAB radio have finished their deliberations. Basically, BBC radio listeners were invited to design the ‘skin’ or outer cover for the limited edition device, and the winner has now been revealed.
The winner’s radio will go into production soon and be on sale in autumn 2012 for a limited period, with £50 from each radio sold going towards Children in Need.
Well, it’s congratulations to a Mr David Hampson from Cardiff, and his design is pictured, above right.
