Mouser takes Taiwan LED optics firm to global market
Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with LedLink Optics, the Taiwan-based manufacturer of secondary optics for high-power LEDs, writes Richard Wilson.
LedLink Optics has partnerships with LED manufacturers including: Cree, Osram Opto Semiconductors and Seoul Semiconductor.
The manufacturer’s LED lenses offer beam-pattern options ranging from 8° up to 140°. It has products for applications ranging from residential to architectural and street lighting.
“Design engineers and buyers in need of lighting solutions from single optics to 60-in-1 multi-cluster, available with different beam patterns based on different LED manufacturers’ specifications, now have a proven, international source for the most advanced LED technology from LedLink,” said the distributor.
“We are pleased to be partnering with Mouser as we look to expand our global reach,” said Telung Tang, general manager of LedLink.
“Our shared relationships with other key LED manufacturers provide a natural fit for us,” said Tang.
LedLink Optics designs and manufactures optics for solid-state lighting companies such as Cree, Edison, Philips Lumileds, Nichia, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, Samsung LED and Seoul Semiconductor.
