Lens also protects to IPx8
Veronica fom Ledil is a family of lenses that combine optical element, structural holder and a sealing surface suitable for applications requiring ratings up to IPx8.
There are two lens types: real spot and oval, with more onthe way, said the firm.
There are also two different sealing types: “The round, slightly larger version is optimised for optical performance whereas the square Veronica-SQ [pictured] has adhesive tape for easy installation and a slightly smaller footprint,” said Ledil. “The round, larger, version needs to be potted using resins with higher viscosity. The square version has the same footprint as Strada-SQ lenses, making it more versatile to use.”
Applications are expected in outdoor architectural lighting, facade lighting, display lighting and billboard lighting.
