Toshiba to start GaN-on-silicon LED production
Before Christmas. Toshiba will start mass production of white LEDs made on a GaN-on-silicon process using six inch wafers, writes David Manners.
This month Plessey Semiconductors also starts production of GaN-on-silicon LEDS on six inch wafers at Plymouth.
