Impossible objects #14: Pocket light folding bulb

I love the idea of a folding light that you can put in your pocket. It would be a bit like magic, except a pocket torch would serve the same end-purpose…
Thanks to Technabob for this one, highlighting the work of the award-winning designer Ryan Harc and his “Pocket Light” portable lighting.
While not a commercial product, it is real and is apparently powered by a watch battery, with the “flat bulb” tucking inside a wallet-sized card frame.
