Fable: The Amazing Father And Son

There was once an amazing father and son. The father founded the most important computer company in the world. The son founded the most important IC company in the world.

The father served six terms in the US House of Representatives. The son earned 30 patents in his lifetime and founded many companies, mainly in aviation, and was a co-founder of  both Pan Am and American Airlines.

The father was largely self-educated and was apprenticed at the age of 14 to a printer. At the age of 36 he owned a newspaper. He became a pioneer in the clock industry.

The son went to Harvard University where, as a student, he invented the flash camera. The IC company which he founded defined the future development of the IC industry.
