Fable: The Long-Lived Legacy Of Genius
The inventor of the one of the greatest of all electrical inventions, whose passion was teaching deaf children, founded a company which, 25 years after the inventor’s death, invented the greatest of all electronic inventions.
The company licensed the electronic invention to many companies in return for royalties and it became the driving force of 20th century technical innovation.
But, in deference to the inventor’s passion, no royalty was ever charged for using the electronic invention in deaf aids.
Moral: Genius lingers on.
