Fable: The Man Who Thought

A very great man who founded a very great company once told his executives at a meeting:

“Anytime you people have the urge to think at home, just stay there until you get through thinking.”

He adopted, as the company’s motto, the word: THINK

Moral: When everyone thinks alike; no one’s thinking.

    Long before the invention of the PC and even longer before the laptop, IBM’ers used company issued notepads with “THINK” imprinted on the cover. They came to call these “Think Pads”.

    Yes indeed Dick, the Great Man himself it was. Interestingly Lenovo has now taken over ‘Think’ as the brand for their PCs. P.S. Redemption is always available – even for ex Inmos-ites.
