TSMC’s Bonus

TSMC is to give its people $833 million in a mid-year bonus.

The company has 39,000 employees.

This is the highest bonus ever paid out in TSMC’s history – 8% up on last year’s mid-year bonus.

TSMC made a profit of $6.3 billion in 2013 on revenues just shy of $20 billion.

As well as the mid-year bonus TSMC gives its employees a year-end bonus fixed at two months salary

‘We are committed to pay-for-performance incentive programs that reward our employees for the value they add to the company,’ says TSMC.
