ST May Exit CAC 40 On Friday
This week STMicroelectronics looks like falling out of the CAC 40, France!s index of leading shares.
ST with a market cap of 5.7 billion euros looks like being replaced in the index by Free, the French mobile phone company, which has a market cap of 10.7 billion euros.
The CAC 40 is reviewed three times a year and the next review is on Friday.
Alcatel-Lucent was kicked out in last December’s review.
The Small Shareholders Group at ST is saying that shareholders at the next AGM of ST will have to look closely at The 8 year tenure of ST’s CEO Carlo Bozotti and ask if his contract should be renewed when it expires next year.
