Bargain price sale of InterDigital patents to Intel
InterDigital, which develops wireless patents for licensing, has sold 1,700 patents to Intel for $375m.

InterDigital’s shares zoomed giving it a $3bn+ valuation for a company with revenues of around $70m a quarter, but no sale materialised.
The Nortel deal valued the patents at $750K each, the Google deal valued the patents at $735k each and the Intel/InterDigital deal values the patents at $220k each.
