Blackberry ban attempt dropped
, IM,aNokia has dropped its attempt to stop RIM’s Blackberry phones being sold in the US, UK and Canada.
Nokia says that RIM has agreed to pay a one-off charge and ongoing licence fees in respect of WiFi technology used in Blackberry phones.
The ban was dropped after an arbitration ruling in Nokia’s favour by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
