Electronica: Digi-Key joins support for future designers
Electronica is inviting electronic engineering students to attend the exhibition in Munich on Friday November 12th as part of a Future Professionals Day.
The aim is to give students access to technologies and companies they will use and work with in future engineering careers.
“We realise the importance of providing products and information to the next generation of electronic engineers,” said Mark Larson, Digi-Key’s president and COO.
The distributor is one of a number of companies supporting the student day, others include: Infineon, Freescale, National Instruments, and Rohde & Schwarz.
“The students will be responsible for the innovations of the future,” said Larson.
The intention is to give engineering students the opportunity to see presentations and product demonstrations, as well as speak to representatives from the companies.
