Xilinx UltraScale device resources
Xilinx says its shipped its first 20nm product – Virtex UltraScale VU095 FPGAs.
Made on TSMC’s 20nm process, the chips deliver up to 4.4 million logic cells using 3-D stacking, 32.75 Gb/s transceivers for chip-to-chip, chip-to-optics, and 28G backplanes, and multiple integrated 100G Ethernet and 150G Interlaken cores.
They can be ‘seamlessly’ migrated to TSMC’s 16 nm finfet process, says Xilinx.
