Electronica: Energy Micro adds M0plus and M4F
Energy Micro will launch three product series in 2013 to its Gecko range of ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers next year.
The Norwegian firm, which specialises in micro-power peripherals, will add Cortex-M0+ and Cortex-M4F microcontrollers, and “ultra low power, multi-standard radio transceivers with integrated Cortex-M3 cores”, said Energy.
This has been a busy time for Energy Micro: It recently signed distribution deals with Glyn and Premier Farnell (aka Element 14 and Newark) and, in October, raised an additional $12m funding from a combination of new and existing investors.
