Cree picks Plextek for RF design
Cambridge-based RF deisgn house Plextek RF Integration has been nominated by Cree as a preferred design resource for Cree’s European foundry customers.
Cree makes commercial GaN RF transistors and GaN MMICs (microwave monolithic integrated circuits), as well as offering GaN foundry services for both transistors and MMICs.
“The arrangement with Plextek will give Cree’s European customers access to proven design capabilities to develop their own GaN MMICs,” said Plextek. “In addition to design and layout services, Plextek has in-house test facilities that allow evaluation of MMICs both directly on wafer and as packaged parts.
