Android runs on i.MX28 wireless module
Digi International is offering Android support for the ConnectCard for i.MX28 wireless module.
Embedded application development kits will include drivers and software extensions allowing customers to get to market fast using Android.
The ConnectCard for i.MX28 can be used for developing portable devices in medical, building automation and similar applications.
It features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networking options, and measures 51 x 35 x 3mm.
The module features an integrated 32-bit ARM core running at up to 454 MHz, on-chip power management, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual Ethernet and 802.11 a/b/g/n networking options.
