Raspberry Pi: Ten on eBay, bids skyrocket

Two seminars offering firms advice on how to prepare for the EU RoHS and WEEE Directives are taking place this month.

Distributor EBV Elektronik has joined with one of its franchises Freescale Semiconductor to run two seminars in May aimed at providing advice on moving towards lead-free component sourcing and production.

The seminars will take place at the Coppid Beech Hotel, Bracknell, on Monday 9th May and at the Manchester International Office Centre, Manchester, on Tuesday 10th May.

Presentations will be given by Georg Steinberger of EBV Elektronik and Dr Friedrich-Wilhelm Wulfert from Freescale Semiconductor along with Andrew Tubbs, head of materials handling at TT EMS, Clive Simmonds, manufacturing engineering manager from BAE Systems and Sheila Lord, purchasing manager from Dedicated Micros of Manchester.
