Red Bull is recruiting a Hardware Engineer and a Electrical Technician. Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, they are permanent full-time roles. The salary is undisclosed.
For the hardware engineer, the person will work for the company’s Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). The main purpose of the position is to provide a wide range of Electrical and Electronic support to this project.
Red Bull says:
“The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering and have practical experience with analogue and digital electronic design. They will have a proven track record working with schematic capture and PCB layouts. In addition to this they will be used to developing, testing, fault finding and repair of prototype circuit boards. A familiarity with Mechanical CAD, wiring harness design, analysis of logged data and simulation (circuit and system) is also desirable. The role is based at our Milton Keynes factory, but occasional travel may be required.”
For the electrical technician, Red Bull says:
“You will maintain and develop our on-car Electrical and Electronic systems and associated garage based equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work to exceptional standards whilst under pressure, using their thorough knowledge of Electrical/Electronic installations, Autosport or Aerospace connectors, MIL specification wiring and heat shrink moulded parts. You will have previous experience in a Motorsport environment supporting the electrical build and turn around, and be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.”
