NMI awards opens for entries from UK and Ireland
The UK-based electronic systems trade body, the NMI has announced that its 2012 awards are open for entries.
The awards, which are open to all electronic system firms with activity in the UK and Ireland, are intended to reflect the evolving expertise of the British and Irish electronics industry and highlight skills, manufacturing and innovation with an emphasis on efficient design and power electronics.
“This has been a big year for us and the industry so there’s plenty to celebrate,” said Derek Boyd, CEO of NMI.
“The community is growing, with automotive electronics joining NMI, so we’re aiming to make this the biggest awards yet and are reaching out to all electronic systems firms to get active in this community,” said Boyd.

A black-tie awards gala and dinner will take place after the annual Industry Summit. Both will take place on the 15th of November at the prestigious central London hotel, the Radisson Blu Portman.
