The appointments follow ”double digit sales growth in each of the last five years”, said the supplier of PC input devices, switches, sensor and control products.

“Our new staff will help us cover our external sales, marketing, website and PR, as well as our sales in France,” said Michael Groom, managing director of ZF Electronics UK.

“This investment may not even have been the last for this year as our business continues to outperform the targets and further expansion within Europe is planned,” said Groom.

Sarah Cox has recently returned to ZF Electronics UK to concentrate on promoting the company’s range of micro switches, sensors and RF products as area sales manager for France.

“I quite simply missed the buzz of the electronic components industry and this is the ideal opportunity for me,” said Cox.

Cox began her career in the electronic components industry in the 1980s, working for one of the main broad line distributors at the time.

After several years as a field sales representative, she moved in to sales management, eventually joining Cherry UK in 1998.

As moving to France had been a long term goal for her, she didn’t hesitate when there was a possibility to work for Cherry Sarl (near Paris). She eventually left the company and city life opting instead for the countryside of rural Normandy, but now she is back with ZF Electronics UK and looking forward to a new challenge.

Luke Pearson joined ZF Electronics UK in January 2014 in a joint role of business development manager and also UK product manager for the companies’ new energy harvesting products, which will be launched later this year.
