Chip adds advanced DSP to hearing aids

ON Semiconductor’s has introduced two digital signal processing (DSP) devices for use in hearing aids.

The RHYTHM R3920 is a 16-channel device designed for high-end applications. It runs the iSceneDetect environmental classification algorithm to discern various sound environments and then select the most appropriate mode automatically.
