Vishay offers tiny antennas for 868 and 915MHz
Vishay Intertechnology has expanded its line of ceramic chip antennas with small-form-factor MLCC devices designed for the reception and transmission of digital signals at frequencies of 868 MHz (VJ5301M868MXBSR and VJ5601M868MXBSR) and 915 MHz (VJ5301M915MXBSR and VJ5601M915MXBSR).
The Vishay Vitramon chip antennas comply with the MBRAI wireless standard in device sizes of 35mm x 5mm x 1.2mm and 15.5mm x 10.5mm x 1.2mm.
The devices feature 50? unbalanced tuning interfaces and wide operating temperature ranges from – 40 °C to + 85 °C.
The chip antennas released today are optimized for medical telemetry and instrumentation, industrial automation, security and home automation systems, gas and water meters, remote sensing and control, and long-range RFID.
Manufactured in noble metal electrode technology (NME) with a wet build process, the VJ5301M868MXBSR, VJ5301M915MXBSR, VJ5601M868MXBSR, and VJ5601M915MXBSR offer a high-reliability, ceramic-oxide body construction. The RoHS-compliant chip antennas are halogen-free per IEC 61249-2-21 and designed to be assembled onto a PC board using a standard reflow process.
