World first web audit for Electronics Weekly
Electronics Weekly has become the first publication in the world to include geographic break-down of web traffic in its BPA audit.
The Business Publication Audit (BPA) is compiled twice a year, giving a detailed break down of the readership of print and digital publications. Due to increasing use of the Internet, the audit is now being extended to web traffic, giving a further indication to advertisers of the size of its audience. The web audit has broken down the figures to include page impressions, unique users, page duration and browser frequency and geographic background of website users.
Electronics Weekly Group sales manager Lee De La Rue Browne said: "The BPA audit will allow the sales team to demonstrate precise and accurate facts. Being the first in our sector across Europe to produce an independent audit is very exciting. This really shows how serious RBI is at offering the market precise audit figures".
The BPA primarily audits the circulation of business-to-business and consumer magazines. It also provides audit services for newspapers, Web sites, events, email newsletters, digital magazines and other advertiser-supported media produced by its members.
