The Elektra 2006 European Electronics Industry Awards recognise the achievements of individuals and companies working and operating in the European electronics industry. A number of different categories assess a range of technical, commercial and personal achievements which took place during 2005/6. An independent judging panel will include representatives from companies, trade bodies and academia as well editors from the magazine. Entries in all categories will be judged on their relative merits such as commercial success, technical innovation and support of their staff. Please provide dates, fact and figures where appropriate to support your entry. All entries to be submitted in English language only.

Please attach the following items as part of your Elektra 06 entry:

• A completed online entry form.
• A 500 word description of the entry, including:
  • What were the objectives for the project or product introduction?
  • What differentiates your achievement/product from those of your competitors?
  • What was the measure of success?
  • What competitive advantage has it given you?
  • What was the business benefit?
• A company logo or letterhead.

• All entries to be submitted in English language only.
• Closing date: 7 July 2006
• Entries will be judged by a panel of independent adjudicators led by the Panel Chairman Richard Wilson, Editor, Electronics Weekly.
• You may enter as many categories as you wish.
• Use one online entry form per category. The completed entry form(s) must be emailed by the person responsible for submitting the entry.
• Entries are non-returnable unless clearly requested otherwise.
• The judges' decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into by any member of the judging panel.
• All winners will be announced at the awards dinner: 15 November 2006.
• Awards winners may state in advertising or in promotional material, or on their stationery that they have been winners. They must include the awards logo, category and year in which they have won. Please contact vicky.weyman@rbi.co.uk for logo and promotional information.
