Rated at 16A and with a maximum switching capacity of 4,000VA, Tyco Electronics’ RF series of power relays is targeted at domestic appliance applications such as oven controls, microwaves and heating, as well as power supplies.

Faston terminals, included for the load side, are available as either vertical or horizontal fixing. The devices are available with single pole normally open or normally closed contacts.

The power relays feature a coil power of 400mW and reinforced insulation in accordance with EN 61810, 60335 and 60730. The WG version is fabricated using materials in accordance with the new IEC 60335-1 clause 30 requirements, important for applications in domestic appliances.

Operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C, mechanical life is 30 million cycles, and operate/release time is 10ms.
