Display Technology has released the Vampower 11 graphic card designed for controlling TFT flat panels digitally, including dual panel facility, Picture in Picture (PIP) and extreme high resolution possibilities.
The latest member of the Vampower graphic card family, the Vampower 11, utilises the ATI Radeon Mobility series (M6,M7, and M9), to achieve high performance in TFT panel systems equipped with digital controls.
The Vampower 11 is a high speed AGP 4x slot card (3.3V and 1.5V) with an on-board 16/32/64MB DDR SGRAM and supports all recognised flat panel interfaces such as TTL, LVDS, TMDS and DVI. All connections are backward compatible with the previous Vampower 9 and 10.
Panels with single / dual channel, 18/24 bit, conventional and non-conventional data mapping up to QXGA (2048 x 1536) resolution can be connected via the LVDS interface. The LVDS connection cable length can be up to 15 metres depending on resolution and colour intensity required.
The DVI interface (single channel) with maximum 165MHz clock frequency, supports a resolution of up to UXGA (1600 x 1200) at 60 Hz refresh rate and is fully compatible with the DVI and DFP standard. The Radeontm Mobilitytm family has 2 control channels, with which 2 displays can be independently controlled in terms of both resolution and refresh rate. Various combinations are possible, such as 2 LVDS panels, one LVDS and a DVI panel, or a TTL panel and a CRT monitor.
