Review Display Systems is offering TFT display panels with anti-reflective filters for use in high ambient light conditions.

A panel with a 12.1in. screen and resolution of 800x600 pixels (SVGA) incorporates an anti-reflective coating to cut down reflections when the displays are used in applications where sunlight would normal cause the panels to be difficult to read. The coating prevents the surface diffusing. 

The module size is 280x210x12mm, which gives a viewing area of 246x184.5mm.

The panel also features a screen brightness of 350cd/m and a contrast ratio of 350:1 which ensures a bright,  high contrast image under all conditions. The high screen brightness combined with the AR coating also makes the unit ideal for touch screen applications.
