Agilent Technologies has introduced its first LXI-compliant power meter which supports LAN-based automated measurements of peak, peak-to-average ratio and average power.

The N8262A P-series is designed to network via Ethernet with web browsers and IVI drivers.

LXI Class C compliant, the meter has a sampling rate of 100Msample/s. Besides basic power measurements, the N8262A also performs time and CCDF statistical measurements.

Users can program the N8262A with various programming languages, including Agilent VEE, LabVIEW, LabWindows, C, C++ and MATLAB.

For more complex analysis and advanced troubleshooting functions, the optional N1918A Power Analysis Manager software is available.
