National Instruments has added a 6½-digit multimeter for PXI as a low-cost entry point for data-logging measurement.
It can be combined with PXI switch configurations in the PXI-1033 integrated chassis and controller to create high-channel-count, 6½-digit data-logging systems for £2,500 or €3,600 for up to 48 channels and £7,400 or €11,000 for up to 784 channels.
Engineers can add 3,000 channels with each additional 18-slot PXI chassis.
With the NI-DMM driver software that comes with the PXI-4065 digital multimeter, users can build high-channel-count data-logging systems the LabVIEW SignalExpress configuration environment.
The PXI-4065 digital multimeter offers 6O-digits of resolution at up to 10 readings per second and up to 3,000 readings per second at lower resolutions. It has Vdc/Vrms isolation of ±300.
