At this year’s IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) will be showcasing system-on-chip (SoC) technology that simplifies the design and implementation of digital television applications. The company will also be announcing new additions to its family of branded memory cards and USB memory products.

In hall 2.1, room 216 and 217, Toshiba will be offering live demonstrations of a number of products including the Donau family of highly integrated SoCs for iDTV, set top box (STB) and digital TV recorder (DTR) applications. New single-chip products for key functions such as scan rate conversion and MPEG4 video processing will also be on show for the first time.

In Hall 21, in cooperation with Toshiba Neuss, Toshiba Electronics Europe will also present its comprehensive range of branded memory products for the consumer market. These include microSD / microSDHC (*) cards offering storage from 512MB to 4GB, standard SD / SDHC (*) cards with capacities from 1GB to 8GB, and a comprehensive family of USB memories.

During the show Toshiba plans to unveil new additions to the SD card family and the USB ranges.
