Analog Devices is offering the AD8506 dual operational amplifier with rail-to-rail inputs and output which designed for battery-powered designs such as patient monitors, remote sensors and handheld instrumentation.
The chip’s circuit architecture is designed to maintain high linearity by minimising distortion through its power supplies and its inputs. Its 105dB PSR minimises errors caused by power supply voltage variations over a battery’s lifetime.
It maintains 105dB CMR, maximizing linearity by minimising the common-mode induced distortion often found in amplifiers having rail-to-rail inputs.
Power consumption is 20[micro]A per amplifier.
The AD8506 is available in an 8-lead MSOP.
