GOEPEL electronic has extended its portfolio of innovative USB modules.
USB 31128 is a relay board with USB 2.0 interface for general measurement and control applications to switch electronic signals with electronic isolation. The board’s architecture enables numerous matrix configurations whereby users are able to define the matrix arrangement by themselves. A cost-effective and simply adaptable module with numerous applications is now available.
The board’s basic structure is a block of eight to one relays. There are 16 blocks of this structure, eight on both the base board and the daughter board.
Consequently, the USB 31128 with daughter board provides 128 relays with open contacts. These 16 blocks can be interconnected by means of connectors and configuration adapters to form various matrix types. Therefore, the module can be utilised as multiplexer or demultiplexer/splitter, and as 128 single relays.
By changing bridges (0 Ohm resistor) at the relays and selective switching of the relay interfaces with each other, USB 31128 can be adapted to specific applications. For example, the module can also be used to disconnect individual signals by removing as many as required numbers of 0 Ohm resistors.
