Huber+Suhner has a fibre optic connector assembly designed for harsh environmental and industrial applications.

It is based on the SC-RJ duplex push/pull connector using SC ferrule technology and is available in singlemode and multimode according to EN 50173-3 and ISO/EN 24702.

The SC-RJ IP67 is the version of industrial applications where fluid resistance is needed.

Designed to be resistant to oil, petrol, kerosene, the connector is halogen free.

As the adaptor will fit into existing RJ45 panels, it should be straight-forward for upgrading from copper Ethernet to fibre.
