A dual output low noise LDO voltage regulator from Torex Semiconductor draws 28[micro]A per channel, falling to less than 0.1[micro]A in standby mode.
The output voltage for each regulator is factory set independently, and selectable in 50mV increments within a range of 0.8 to 5.0V.
The maximum output current for devices in the XC6415 range is typically 200mA per channel, and the operating temperature range is from -40 up to a maximum +85 deg C.
There is an EN function which allows the output of each regulator to be turned off independently. In this state, the device turns on the internal switch located between the Vout and the Vss pins.
This function enables the electric charge at the output capacitor (CL) to be discharged via the internal auto-discharge resistor, and as a result the Vout pin quickly returns to the Vss level. The output stabilisation capacitor (CL) is compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors.
The dual output LDO voltage regulator has a low dropout voltage of 90mV at 100mA.
It is available in a USP-6C package or SOT-25. See www.torex-europe.com
