SynQor is targeting its latest isolated DC-DC converters at industrial applications where a wider range of input voltages is required.
The IQ24-EGA series of standard eighth-brick devices operates over an input voltage range of 18-36V and provide up to 25A, or 75W of output power. The available output configurations include 1.8V/25A; 3.3V/20A; 5V/15A; 7V/10A; 12V/6A; 15V/5A and 24V/3A.
The modules are available either as an open frame device, or as a fully encased device with an attached baseplate for cold-plate or heat-sink mounting in harsh environments.
Size is 58.4x22.9x10.41mm in open frame format, which means the devices offer a high power efficiency level of up to 90 per cent.
The high efficiency and optimum layout of the patented synchronous rectifier based topology employed in the IQ24-EGA, leads to maximum output current availability with minimal derating, said the supplier.
Fixed switching frequency operation offers predictable EMI performance, and MTBF figures in the region of 2.5 million hours reflect the high reliability of the devices.
