Now available from ITT Interconnect Solutions is the Micro-K range of rugged, lightweight micro-miniatures circular connectors developed using twist pin micro-miniature contact technology.

With factory installed contact termination to up to 24 AWG wire, Micro-K connectors can be configured to meet customer needs in lightweight, compact designs, states ITT.

Meeting the performance requirements of Mil-C-83513 Micro-K connectors are available in a range of circular pin layouts with 1.27mm contact spacing.

The MIK thermoplastic shell has up to 55 contacts and the MIKM metal shell up to 85 contacts. A quick release metal shell version, the MIKQ, has 37 contacts and all body shells have five keyway positions to allow polarization when multiple connectors are used on one unit. RFI shielding is a further option.

Micro-K series devices feature a 3A contact rating, 500 mating cycles and keyway polarization of the body shells. The connectors are for applications in avionics, medical equipment, field radios, and military gun sights.
