Ardence, a Citrix Company, has announced the release of version 8.1 of RTX, its real-time extension for Windows.
The latest RTX version has a number of features:
According to Ardence, RTX is the only Windows-based real-time extension that offers MSI capabilities, eliminating restrictive hardware interrupt conflicts, allowing designers to use a range of PCI-compliant devices.
RTX 8.1 also incorporates RT-TCP/IP enhancements, including RAW socket support, and Jumbo frame support. RTX kernel debugging support has also been improved via newly available IEEE 1394 and USB connection capabilities.
Ardence RTX 8.1 is available immediately in the UK via Hitex UK (+44 (0) 2476 692066, ardence@hitex.co.uk), and evaluation copies are available online by visiting: ftp://hitex.podzone.net/pub/hitex/ardence/rtx810
