Gleichmann Electronics is offering the 7in. TFT display, designed by NEC LCD Technologies and built using twisted nematic (TN) technology.

Its resolution is 800x480 pixels and the display is controlled via a selectable 6-bit or 8-bit low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) interface.

Luminance is 400cd/m sq and contrast ratio 500:1. Both horizontal and vertical viewing angles are specified as 160 degrees typical.

Power consumption is approximately 3W and a replaceable LED backlight has a lifetime/mean time to failure (MTTF) of 50.000 hours typical.

Size is 170x111x8.5mm and operating temperature is -20 to +70 deg C.
